Albert grew up with a love for baseball. Albert and I actually played for many years together on the diamond each spring and summer. He began playing music at an early age, but initially, it was more of a chore to go to piano lessons than a real passion. As Al grew older, he began to appreciate music more and more. He knew he wanted to pursue a career in music but desired something more stable than trying to make it as a full-time musician.
